Working with the grade school children at Ellinwood is the best job in the world! I should know... I've been enjoying this job since 1994.
Before I came to work in Ellinwood, I was the Director of Library
Services at Barton County Community College. I went to college at Fort Hays State University, and have my Master's Degree from Emporia State University. I enjoy helping with the high school musical and other theatrical productions, both at school and in the community. I'm also a sports fanatic. Besides Ellinwood, I've lived in Hays, Austria, and Belgium. I have one terrific son who lives in Oregon. Give me a call if you have any Grade School Library questions or needs.

Mission Statement
The Ellinwood Grade School Library will create a
student-centered environment in which children can
successfully obtain information and ideas for their educational, informational, and recreational needs. The library also seeks
to promote an appreciation of literature as students become lifelong readers and learners.
The library wants to ensure that students acquire the necessary information skills they will need to
become productive learners, with the abilities and knowledge necessary to lead successful meaningful lives. The library will
also provide information and consulting assistance for
staff and administration.
